IGNOU gears up to fight COVID-19 Suspends activities at Learner Support Centers

In the wake of the Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, IGNOU has already suspended all activities at Learner Support Centers spread across the country. In view of the Govt. of India decision to lockdown the country for 21days with effect from 25.03.2020, IGNOU closes all its Regional Centres and Study Centres till the Lockdown period. There will be NO student support activities at the Study Centres.  However, all the officers of IGNOU and other staff members will be working from home in this period. The last date for submission of Assignments and last date to apply for the Examinations without late fee are extended till 30^th April 2020.

Dr. S. Raja Rao, Regional Director of Visakhapatnam Regional Centre has urged the IGNOU learners to not visit the study centres, or Regional Centre during this period of 21 days and instead he advised them to use RC email id (rcvisakhapatnam@ignou.ac.in)  and  IGRAM portal through IGNOU website (www.ignou.ac.in)  and Facebook channel of Regional Centre (https://www.facebook.com/rc.vizag)  for any support and queries. He requested the students to go through the details of various online services like Gyandhara, Gyan vani, Gyan Darshan etc which are available in the IGNOU website. He also advised all the students to strictly adhere to the advisory circulated by the authorities to prevent the spread of the virus.
