Achievements

Organized Two day orientation programme for the unoriented Academic Counsellors on 10 & 11th November 2012.
Conducted Coordinators/PICs meeting of the LSCs on 3rd November 2012 and Coordinators meeting of Regular Study Centres on 26th November 2013
The Regional Centre Visakhapatnam has successfully conducted 26th Convocation of IGNOU at Regional Centre on 12th April 2013. A learner of PGDFM programme has earned Gold Medal of IGNOU during the 26th Convocation.
Establishment of Programme Study Centre for offering Diploma in Dairy Technology (DDT) in association with Visakha Dairy Farms, Visakhapatnam is a remarkable achievement of the RC.
Establishment of regular study centre at Govt. College of Autonomous, Rajahmundry has increased the potential of enrollment in the region.
A fully functional ware house has been set up at the RC building since January 2013 for distribution of SLMs to learners.
Continuously working for promotion of IGNOU academic programmes in the Region and expanding the higher educational opportunities to the public.
Established an exclusive study centre for Law programmes of IGNOU at the Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam
